It’s the feasting season so pack a bag for a week and head to Wilderness with family for a Christmas Holiday. Allocate rooms, hang stockings and settle in for a cosy trip in a luxury country house or cottage.
Celebrate in opulence at Sibton Manor, a venue for big families to bring everyone together across the 12 bedrooms and generous dining room. A Christmas at Wilderness consists of roaring fires, heated floors and a cinema room to watch something cheesy. Or for a smaller Christmas, take the 8 person The Cartshed or get back to nature with a stay in the Tudor house Moat Cottage with it's own hot tub and boat house perched over the moat.
Take on a bracing walk across the 5,000 acres of parkland and work up an appetite for the next big plate of food. Point out the deer and festive scene, then return to mess around in the games room or run a hot bath before coming together for your festive meal. If you’d like someone else to do the work, our Wilderness chefs can put together a Christmas feast for the family. Locally sourced organic turkey, with all the trimmings, or a new spin on Christmas with a lamb dish or veggie roast completed with wines from the estate's wine cellar. Finish the meal with whiskies or Baileys by the fire whilst looking out upon acres of private rolling parkland and ring in the Queens Speech in one of the spacious living rooms.
Weekends from £3,100
